Today I'm reaching out to all people who are starting thier life over. Those starting life from scratch. Those starting life from point A. Whether you are starting over due to a disaster that was out of your control or a disaster of your own making, I commend you for having the courage to start from scratch.
We aren't babies anymore. Though at times we feel like we are children because we can't support ourselves; we can't seem to make the right choices; we just can't seem to get our lives in order even though that's what we are trying to do. Asking for help and asking for support have become hard for us. But now is the time to accept help and support because without a shoulder to cry on we will isolate and cry by ourselves. Without that couple of extra dollars in our pocket we won't be able to make ends meet and soon enough we will be at point a again. Today accept whatever helping hand comes into your life. Tomorrow you won't regret the help you accepted but you will regret the help you dismissed.
Today I started with a goal. I encourage you to do the same. Starting life over starts with a goal or two or three or four. I have long-term goals and short term goals and I try to accomplish what I can each day. I accept the fact that I will not see a result today but I know that if I keep chipping away at each of my goals I WILL see a result. And I believe that when we are doing the right thing and we are going down the path that the universe has paved for us, results will come quickly.
Starting over is not easy. But I'm doing it too. So take this journey with me, accept help, ask for support, start with a goal and measure your success in time. I know you can do it! And I believe many of you are on your way to the first step.
